Supernormal Buildability Consultants supports architects, builders, and homeowners working on high-performance residential projects.

 

Founded by Connor Malloy, the practice focuses on translating design intent into details and assemblies that can be built efficiently, coordinated clearly, and perform reliably on site.

 

Supernormal combines practical construction experience, building science knowledge, and technical education to support project teams during design, pre-construction, and construction phase

Professional Background

Connor Malloy has over 20 years of experience working in residential renovation, custom home construction, and design-led building projects.

 

His background includes leading design and construction teams on residential projects ranging from renovations and additions to high-performance custom homes, with a focus on coordination, constructability, and practical project delivery.

 

Connor holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master of Interdisciplinary Design Strategy from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland.

The name Supernormal reflects an interest in building beyond baseline expectations through thoughtful design, practical construction strategies, and continuous improvement.

 

While high-performance standards such as Passive House often inform the work, the broader goal is to support projects that exceed typical construction practices in ways that are practical, buildable, and appropriate for each project team.
